A clothing bag, sand removal powder and cupcake liners were named finalists for The Next Big Thing national product search contest. The winner will be announced June 26 during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.
The Next Big Thing contest received applications from across the country from product designers, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home moms and other creative minds. The contest allows up-and-comers to show their product in front of domestic and international retail buyers at Dallas Market Center. The winner will receive a prize package worth $15,000. The winner is selected based on a combination of judges' feedback and popular vote.

"Sutton Baking Cups makes a name for itself by looking great on paper. At one time or another, baking novices and pastry chefs alike have noticed when the once-colorful designs on paper cupcake liners look differently coming out of the oven. Letters that used to read "happy birthday," end up faded, distorted and illegible. 'Once you bake in them, the design that you purchased and paid for is no longer there,' says Kellie Sutton, a stay-at-home mother of four and fed-up consumer."
